I think this is the coolest bedroom I’ve ever seen…

Although I think that maybe there is too much water and it looks a little too cold to me…

But it is a nice idea… To some people iot might look like a bedroom

That’s a terrible idea. The TV would sound terrible in there, with all those flat walls, and you wouldn’t want to sleep there because it would smell like chlorine.

The TV in there makes it hideous

Looks great, but I doubt the smell of chlorine is what you’d want in your bedroom. Also, this setup might be troublesome for sleepwalkers and people with pets or children might want to considers moving the TV away from the water :)

Wow. That is the coolest bedroom ever XD I love water though I’d probably only use it in the summer. Winter would probably be a bit…chilly.

This is a pretty sweet room… i would love to have one… and in the winter im pretty sure if you could afford this room, you would have the pool heated :D

This is an excellent idea. Just a couple of things I want to say though:

The walls wouldn’t make that much of a difference in the acoustic qualities of the room. If anything, the water would.

And:

If it’s a salt-water pool, it won’t smell like chlorine and will actually have the quite pleasant smell of salty water.

Expessialy indeed, River. Expessialy indeed. You probly would drown. And the worlds of grammar and spelling would be safe at last.

you know it could be salt water which is what a lot of people are switching too now and it doesn’t seem to smell strongly like chlorine does

To all the sleepwalkers:

Wouldn’t stepping into a pool wake you up?

Wahh Wahh! Practicality!?

Of course it’s not practical. A practical room is just white walls and a bed. This room is cool. f**k the hatas. learn to stop sleepwalking as*****s

Yeah…I look at that and all I can think about is how big of a pain it would be to clean that pool

-if they could afford the room they wouldn’t need to clean the pool
- if it was saltwater it wouldn’t smell so much.
- only the people who complain about possibly having kids in the room are stupid enough to put kids in that room.
- the tv would be better if it was flat screen, but only adds to the comfort of the overall room.
-if they could afford the pool, it WOULD probably be heated in the winter.
- shut up grammar nazi.
- That is a bad ass room. I’ll take 2.

It really is photoshopped. and poorly at that. i’m pretty sure there is one like this in Japan, but this one is clearly a pool with a fake bedroom put over it. nice idea cuz a morning swim is the best.

Hahaha,

You can just pee in the pool if the need arises!!!

Better be careful if you come home drunk though!!

Emma

Well, for the chlorine problem - they’ve got this new way to have a ’saltwater’ pool. It’s a lot better for your skin/health, doesn’t cost as much, and you only have to clean it once a year or so. the smell is barely noticeable - even inside. Sure, it tastes like saltwater, but at least it doesn’t burn when you swallow it!

As for kids/pets/ect…. if you have one, dont get this room! it’s that simple. I don’t see why everyone just has to make a big deal over everything online… it’s not the end of the world…

Chris

that is so cool! i wouldn’t mind showing dates that room. and i would not have a tv in there, cause who actually watches tv in there room anyways…(don’t people have on average like 3 per house anyways?)

Marisa
Wednesday, June 4th, 2008 11:40 am

I would worry about sleeping in a room like that. For a clumsy person like me, I would probably fall in while I’m sleeping. I suppose you can add retractable glass. However, I don’t know if I would like this for myself…especially as a bedroom.

u might want to move the tv away from the water but other than that its kool

Exactly
Wednesday, June 4th, 2008 10:23 pm

Ditch the tv and put in some windows with an awesome view, then it would be complete. Waking up and taking a few steps to a serene dip in the pool would be fantastic, and some good exercise.

I’d love to take a swim, than walk over the slippery path for a towel - or roll wet into the bed, watch the late night show, drop the remote in the lake and slipper back somewhere to switch off the lights. I want dunes in the kitchen and a waterfall in the livingroom as well!

you wake up in the middle of the night to do some thing and fall in

partsawhatmacallit
Friday, June 6th, 2008 5:35 pm

why not… put this underwater? with really thick plexiglass? or not put it underwater and surround the platform with plexiglass and put a door to the steps into the water. That would solve problems for people with animals, kids, w/e.

It wouldn’t smell like chlorine if it was a salt water pool…

I think if someone could afford a bed room that has a pool built all around it, they could afford a better tv.
